Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli continues its strategic growth in California with the addition of transactional real estate attorney Herman Enayati.

Joining the firm’s nationally recognized Real Estate practice, which earned National Tier One ranking in Real Estate Law by U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 “Best Law Firms,” Enayati will work closely with real estate owners, investors, and operators. He leverages his extensive experience representing institutional lenders and capital partners to guide real estate sponsors and entrepreneurs in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and operation of commercial real estate.

Enayati counsels some of the nation’s largest lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt and equity financing transactions. He has extensive experience negotiating joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and complex lease agreements for clients across all asset classes.

“Herman’s significant transactional experience and his ability to very skillfully structure and negotiate complex real estate deals is a strong addition to our national Real Estate practice,” said Amy Kiefer Hansen, chair of Polsinelli’s Real Estate practice. “His extensive knowledge of the greater Los Angeles area real estate market will further strengthen our capabilities on the West Coast.”

More than 165 attorneys comprise Polsinelli’s national real estate team, providing practical solutions to clients in the retail, health care, residential and multi-family housing, resort and hospitality, senior living and long-term care, and industrial real estate sectors.

“Herman’s local and national real estate transactional experience will help us expand our strong base in Southern California,” said Los Angeles Office Managing Partner Noel Cohen, who is a practicing commercial litigation attorney. “His deep knowledge of complex real estate transactions and financing is an excellent complement to our local and national real estate teams.”

The addition of Enayati is one of a series of strategic growth hires by Polsinelli to expand the firm’s California presence. Nine attorneys, several of whom lateraled to Polsinelli from other AmLaw 100 firms, joined the Los Angeles office last year. Five intellectual property litigators joined the firm’s Silicon Valley office this past December.

Enayati earned his law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where he also serves as a Lecturer in Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA.
