Cooley LLP announced today that it advised the underwriters on Onconova Therapeutics, Inc.’s initial public offering. Onconova is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing novel small molecule drug candidates to treat cancer. Onconova now trades on the NASDAQ Global Stock Market under the symbol “ONTX.”

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Leerink Swann LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering; Piper Jaffray & Co. and Janney Montgomery Scott LLC acted as co-managers.
