Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Jordan Trent Jones is rejoining the firm’s Patent Litigation Team in the internationally-recognized Intellectual Property Department. Mr. Jones rejoins Kilpatrick Townsend as Partner in the Silicon Valley office. He was a member of Kilpatrick Townsend’s predecessor firm Townsend and Townsend and Crew from 1997 to 2010.
Mr. Jones has an extensive background in intellectual property litigation matters with an emphasis on patent infringement litigation. He has represented companies in the semiconductor, consumer electronics, software, networking and wireless communications industries in many state and federal courts, including those of California, Delaware, Massachusetts, Texas, and Virginia. He has also represented clients in patent infringement-related investigations pending before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Mr. Jones, previously of the Law Offices of Jordan Trent Jones, has experience as both a computer systems engineer and an information systems consultant. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Princeton University.
