Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Counsel Arriènne Lezak (Angel) to its internationally-recognized Intellectual Property Department on the Electronics and Software Team. She is joining Kilpatrick Townsend’s Silicon Valley office.

Ms. Lezak focuses her practice on intellectual property law and technology. She represents patent and trademark clients in the procurement of intellectual property rights before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Lezak incorporates her background as a former examiner to effectively and efficiently prosecute applications to issuance.

Ms. Lezak represents clients in a number of technological areas and her experience includes the procurement of clients’ intellectual property rights in the fields of 3D computer graphics, computer animation, 2D image processing, game systems, musical notation software, virtual machine architecture, business analytics software, audio technology and Web-based technologies.

Ms. Lezak joins Kilpatrick Townsend from Jones Day. She received her J.D. from the Chicago Kent College of Law and her B.S. in Computer Technology from Purdue University, with distinction. Prior to law school, Ms. Lezak received an M.M. in Music from Boston University, a B.A. from the University of Rochester, and a B.M. from the Eastman School of Music.
