Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Stephen Reiter, Ph.D. has joined the firm’s leading Intellectual Property Department as Counsel and is a member of the Health & Life Sciences team. Mr. Reiter will practice from Kilpatrick Townsend’s San Diego office.

Dr. Reiter is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He has over 30 years of experience addressing intellectual property counseling, transactional issues and all aspects of domestic and foreign patent prosecution. Dr. Reiter has held positions as in-house corporate counsel, and most recently was of counsel in the San Diego office of Foley & Lardner LLP.

Dr. Reiter is a fellow of the American Institute of Chemists. His professional memberships also include the American Chemical Society and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Dr. Reiter has authored numerous articles in leading publications and is a sought-after speaker and patent strategist.
